2009 Engineering Expo Registration
STUDENTS AND PARENTS
- Gear-Up tutoring will start on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Tutoring will be held from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM. We will begin with one day per week; however, if attendance exceeds more than 20 students, a second tutoring session will be needed on Thursdays. Tutoring will be held in the E-building, Rooms 101, 102, 107, 206 and 208. Transportation will be provided for all Gear-Up students. The teachers that will be tutoring are:
Ms. Bolden - Geometry
Ms. Francis - Biology, Physical Science
Mr. Brown - English II
Ms. Belanger - English I
Ms. Seaberry - Algebra I
Ms. Collins - Social Studies

Our Program
This popular magnet program is designed for students who will benefit from a fast-paced, stimulating environment. It provides a vigorous course of study that meets the needs of highly motivated, college bound students. The program places special emphasis on preparing students to succeed through critical thinking skills, creative teaching and extensive computer-based instruction. Subjects are taught at an accelerated level with a variety of Advanced Placement opportunities being offered.
